Two performances of the original cast of Sleeping Beauty were filmed in the Bristol Hippodrome, on Thursday the 9th (Evening performance) and Friday the 10th of May 2013. Almost the whole cast took part in the filming, which meant 23 dancers performed instead of the usual 17, with many tracks being shared.
It was broadcast on BBC 2 on the 25th of December 2013 and later released on DVD.
